Experience Georges Creek

In collaboration with the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, join us for an evolving series of rail photography events that will document the progress of the 13-mile rehabilitation of Georges Creek Railway in western Maryland. Over the next several months, on select dates to be communicated to ticket holders, Gunnoe Media Group and the WMSR will host several opportunities to visit and document the Georges Creek Railway. Our events will include invitations to track work sessions, access to some of the first passenger train miles, and participation to the first-ever organized rail photo freight experience featuring Western Maryland EMD GP9 No. 25. Ticket proceeds collected will directly benefit WMSR’s restoration efforts and allow us to organize these unique events for photographers, while providing exclusive and never-before-offered access to Georges Creek throughout the progression of the rail line’s rehabilitation. Our first event took place Sept. 21 and with additional trips planned in the months ahead.
